How to Submit a Poster

Thank you for your interest in submitting a poster presentation at the 2013 APA LA Student Symposium, “Sustainable Suburbanism.” We have extended the date to November 1, 2013.

Your submission should include:

1) A poster title. For example, “Green Infrastructure Contributes to More Livable Communities.”

2) A one-paragraph abstract related to strategies in transforming urban sprawl into sustainable communities, for example, consider the following:

If your topic is “Green Infrastructure” you might describe how green infrastructure is a key element of sustainable suburbanism because your findings/research demonstrate how green “eats” carbon and emits oxygen, as well as contributing to livability. (Approximately 200 words.)

3) Primary contact and names, titles, organizations of people involved in the poster project.  Include short biographies of the team.

We have included a topic table below that might help you.

Thank you for your interest in showcasing your work. We look forward to reviewing your submission for possible final selection!

Please attach your information in an email to: urbanplanners.csun@gmail.com. Add “Poster Submission” in subject line, or fill out the submission box below for poster consideration. Thank you.

Posters must be 36″x48″. Please arrive by 8 am on November 9, 2013 to set up your poster.
